LEGOLAND® Florida will be opening in October this year with Avius Insight™ kiosks deployed throughout the park to collect all visitor feedback and comments about this exciting new attraction. It will be the biggest LEGOLAND® Park ever at opening, offering more than 50 rides, shows and attractions, including spectacular LEGO® models and other interactive elements for the whole family to enjoy together.
Thanks to Avius Insight™ survey kiosks at Madame Tussauds sites worldwide, customers had the opportunity to tell us which new figure they wanted to see made and an overwhelming majority told us it had to be Lady Gaga. Eight individually designed new figures are now featured in attractions in London, Amsterdam, Berlin, New York, Hollywood, Las Vegas, Shanghai and Hong Kong. The process cost £150,000 per figure adding up to a total of £1.2m, in the most ambitious figure launch in Madame Tussauds history.
Avius Experience and Avius America attended the IAAPA Attractions Expo again this year and were pleased to launch at the show that Avius Insight™ is now compatible with the Apple iPad and Tablet PC. Customer feedback surveys can now be completed on the move by staff using an iPad or Tablet PC in addition to Insight kiosks on-site. We were delighted to be recognised and awarded a 2010 Brass Ring Award for Best New Product, Honourable Mention (2nd place).
